Hi, everyone! We are Kevin and Natalie.  Thank you for stopping by our site! This is where we’ll share our stories, travel tips, and photography.

Who are we?

Our love story: Like a lot of people these days, we met through technology (thanks, Tinder!) in June of 2014. We both knew on our second date that this was something different than either of us had experienced before. It took Natalie going on a trip that August without Kevin (you know that old saying “absence makes the heart grow fonder”?) for us to realize we were in love. Just a few weeks later, we decided to take a weekend trip to Kevin’s hometown for his birthday and for Natalie to meet his family. We went back in November and Kevin’s mom had wedding ring magazines on the table to look at…we all knew it was going to happen, despite Kevin’s aversion to marriage. Then, we planned our next trip to New York City for Natalie’s birthday in March, which brought about suspicion of a proposal and a ring ready in Kevin’s pocket. He couldn’t wait and proposed before the trip with our song playing and our puppy by his side on February 10th, 2015. We got married in November that same year and used some of our wedding money for our dream honeymoon of almost two weeks in Italy. This is where the travel bug hit us both hard and Natalie didn’t even have to try and convince Kevin that wine was better than beer!

Hey, this is Kevin! I was born the youngest of three boys and raised in a small southeastern Ohio town where everyone knew your name. Like a lot of small town dreamers, I wanted to experience the big city and moved on to Pittsburgh, Boston, and Orlando. Before we got married, Natalie convinced me to begrudgingly leave Orlando for the much smaller Cocoa Beach. However, it quickly grew on me and I have fallen in love with the town, the people here, and the chill beach way of life. Growing up, we took your typical family summer vacations to destinations like Myrtle Beach, Disney World, and camping trips around Appalachia. I’d always wanted to travel internationally, but didn’t get a chance to do so until a Caribbean cruise when I was 20.  While on that cruise, we had a stop in small village in Roatan off the tourist path that opened my eyes to how the locals really lived. Since then, that’s the experience I look for when traveling. I enjoy being immersed in and experiencing different cultures. Living like the locals. And luckily Natalie shares that with me. In January 2021, I walked away from my 15-year career as an insurance claims adjuster to travel full-time with her, my best friend in travel and in life.

Hi, Natalie here! I was born in Salt Lake City as the youngest of four and was raised there until age 8 when my dad’s career brought my family to Florida. Cocoa Beach became home when I started high school. In between my dad’s aerospace career and my mom building her business, they then opened a coffee shop, too, which was my first job. We set roots and I fell in love with the town, which I later convinced Kevin to move to. I recently quit my banking job after over twelve years and had many roles, the last position being a bank branch manager. I truly love educating people about finances and coaching people to do the same. Growing up traveling around the west by van or RV, then moving to the east coast and continuing different ways of travel helped grow my love of seeing new places. Other than cruising the Caribbean, my first international trip was to Italy in 2006 for my parents 25th wedding anniversary, and the travel bug officially bit me! Living abroad and going to every U.S. state are my immediate goals, but experiencing different cultures and ways to connect with people are the reasons I love to travel. I’m thankful to have found my travel and life partner in Kevin.

Together we’ve made sacrifices in order to save money, quit our jobs and travel. Now we want to share that with you! We’re just regular people who want to share where we go, along with what we’ve done and learned, to hopefully inspire you to travel more as well.
