That being said, these are all items that we use regularly and find value in at home, anytime we leave the house, and while traveling. We hope you do, too!

We’ve used this Nikon D5500 all over the world since 2017 and taken some great photos in the UK, Paris, Greece, Portugal, etc. with it. While we wish it was a full-frame, it still does okay with the crop-sensor.

To conserve bag space, we only carry these two lenses for now. The Nikon AF-P DX NIKKOR 10-20mm f/4.5-5.6G VR Lens is perfect for landscapes and tight quarters like narrow, Old World streets in Portugal, Italy, Greece, etc.

The Tamron 18-400mm F/3.5-6.3 DI-II VC HLD All-In-One Zoom Lens covers all the other ranges we might need, and was even a good enough lens to capture the Aurora Borealis in Alaska.

We loved using the GoPro Hero 7 when we whitewater rafted in southern Utah and in our more off the beaten path adventures. Be aware that the GoPro doesn’t really work well in subzero temperatures (Trust us! We tried!) Definitely recommend the dual battery charger so you don’t miss out on any action of your own!

We each opted for the 13-inch MacBook Pro. They’re light, fit in our bags perfectly, and are powerful enough for any video and photo editing we need to do while traveling.

Using a trackpad all the time isn’t always the most comfortable thing, so we each have a mouse, too.

Of course, we had to have world map laptop cases! They also have plenty of other fun designs, too!

These hard drives are great for backing up precious photos and videos at home or on the road.

The Anker Portable Charger is great for keeping charged while out and about.

This USB Hub is great for saving you from having dongles everywhere.

ScanDisk is always reliable for memory cards to use in your camera, drone, or GoPro.

The DJI Mavic Mini Fly More Combo comes with everything you need to get started with a drone. It weighs less than 250 grams, so in the United States and Canada, you can fly it without the need to register the drone with the government. It flies for up to 30 minutes, takes 12MP aerial photos and 2.7K quad HD videos. A 3-axis motorized gimbal provides camera stability and ensures clear, ultra-smooth footage.
